Shipping & Order Processing Policy

Thank you for choosing Jax's Jungle! We are dedicated to ensuring that your plant arrives safely and in excellent condition. Below are the details regarding our shipping policies, processing times, and available shipping options.

Order Processing Time

  • Processing Time: Please allow 7 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. After your payment is received, it typically takes 24-48 hours to prep your plants for shipment.
  • Shipping Days: Orders are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid the plants sitting in transit over the weekend. We aim to ship all orders within 72 hours of purchase, but please allow up to 7 business days for processing and shipping. Orders are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid weekend delays in transit. If your order is placed after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, it will ship the following Monday.
  • Order Fulfillment: Orders are shipped in the order they are received unless you request otherwise. If you have specific shipping needs or timelines, please feel free to reach out before placing your order.

Shipping Rates & Options

  • FedEx 3-Day: $15.99 + $3 for each additional plant
  • FedEx Next Day Air: Base $34.99 + $3 for each additional plant
  • Shipping Overages: If you’ve paid more than the actual shipping cost, the excess will be refunded after the package is shipped. Please note that shipping costs will not be combined for multiple orders and will be charged separately.

Live Arrival Guarantee

  • Our Live Arrival Guarantee is available only for Next Day Air shipments.
  • The guarantee is valid only if the plant arrives alive at the time of delivery, so please ensure that someone is available to receive the package promptly.
  • We highly recommend upgrading to express shipping, particularly during extreme weather conditions (either cold in winter or heat in mid-summer).

Shipping to All 50 States

  • We are certified to ship to all 50 states within the U.S.
  • Please note that once the plant leaves our hands and is handed over to the carrier (USPS, FedEx, or UPS), it is out of our control. We are not responsible for any delays, damage, or loss that occurs during transit.

Winter & Weather-Related Shipping Policy

  • Winter Shipping: During colder months, we strongly recommend Next Day Air and winter packing for the best chance of live plant survival. This service is available only when temperatures are above freezing.
  • We will invoice separately for UPS 1-day shipping if requested during the winter months or if expedited shipping is required due to weather conditions.
  • Shipping delays and weather-related issues are common in winter, so express shipping is highly recommended.

Shipping Limitations

  • No Shipsurance Coverage: USPS and UPS no longer cover live plants under Shipsurance. Therefore, Jax’s Jungle is not liable for any losses or damages that occur during shipping after the package has been handed over to the carrier.
  • We encourage customers to be mindful of potential delays due to weather conditions or carrier mishandling, especially during peak shipping periods.

What to Do If There’s an Issue with Your Order

  • If there is any issue with your order, please contact us immediately with clear pictures and videos showing the plant’s condition and the packaging. We strive to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
  • Please note, our response time may be 24-48 hours due to the volume of inquiries, but we are committed to addressing all concerns in a timely manner.
